  • OpenSim plugin to extract the muscle lines of action ( Software )

The OpenSim plugin made available with this project extends the functionality of OpenSim and allows the user to extract the directionality of the muscle lines of action for a given kinematics. Also the muscle attachments can be exported if required by the user. With this information it is generally possible to define loads representative of the muscle forces in finite element models of bone structures.

Keywords: finite element, finite element method, muscle architecture parameters, muscle force, muscle function, Muscle geometry
